Fall Sports at Rota MHS: A Season of Grit, Growth, and Admiral Pride

This fall was a busy, spirited, unforgettable season for Admiral athletics, with students competing in Cheer, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Tennis, and Volleyball. Each sport brought its own moments of challenge and triumph, but together, they told the story of what it means to be part of a team at Rota Middle High School.

A wonderful benefit of a school like ours is watching students discover who they are through sports. Athletics give kids the chance to challenge themselves, try new things, build confidence, and learn how to work alongside others. Across all sports, teamwork was the heartbeat of the fall. Students supported one another. They encouraged teammates, respected opponents, and represented Rota MHS with class at every event across Europe.

To all our fall athletes - you made us proud in ways that matter far beyond the scoreboard. You showed up early, stayed late, learned from tough moments, and celebrated each other’s successes. You played with integrity, supported your teammates, and represented Rota MHS with the kind of pride and character that defines what it means to be an Admiral. 

Behind every team stood coaches who poured their time, heart, and expertise into our students. They organized practices, taught fundamentals, managed travel, built relationships, and made sure every student felt seen and valued. Their commitment created spaces where students could take risks, work hard, and grow on and off the field.

A highlight of this season was what happened on the sidelines. Our Admiral community showed up in full force. The energy was electric. Parents, siblings, teachers, and friends filled the stands, shouted encouragement, and celebrated every play, point, and finish. That kind of support matters. Our athletes felt it. Your presence made a difference.

Thank you to everyone who juggled schedules, shared rides, showed up with that unmistakable Rota enthusiasm, and cheered our athletes on. You helped make this season truly unforgettable.
