Rota Complex DoWEA Schools: What families need to know about student eligibility
SEMBACH, Germany – As the Rota community continues to grow, Rota Complex Schools (Rota Elementary and Rota Middle High School) are seeing increased enrollment. To ensure students continue to receive an exceptional educational experience with appropriate staffing, resources, and classroom support, enrollment is limited to Space-Required, Tuition-Free students.
Space Required includes dependent students of:
- U.S. Armed Forces members serving on active duty, and
- Full-time DoW civilian employees
- Active duty sponsors and DoW Civilian must also be on an authorized with accompanied tour.
Families preparing for or considering a move to Rota can review eligibility requirements in DoDEA Administrative Instruction 1344.01 (updated May 2, 2025) and consult School Liaison Officer.
DoWEA remains committed to providing high-quality education for all students. We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant and growing community and look forward to supporting eligible incoming families.
