Welcome to Rota Middle High School! Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another year, we are excited to have you as part of the Admiral family. We know that starting at a new school, or even preparing for a new school year, can bring a lot of questions. To help you get started, we have compiled some of the most important information, contacts, and resources you may need.

Get Ready:
- Proof of sponsor’s overseas status, orders
- Proof of relationship to sponsor
- Proof of age (birth certificate or passport)
- Immunization record and other pertinent medical information
- Emergency contact information
- Previous school records (official or unofficial)
- Copy of IEP or 504 plan, if applicable
Register: Create a DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) account at www.dodea.edu/registration. Register on a computer or laptop. (The website does not work well on phones and tablets.) Upload supporting documents and information...
- Notify school registrar at Sheila.Suazo@dodea.edu of online completion for further guidance.
- Wait for an academic counselor to review records and send a parent meeting invitation.

- Contact your Student Bus Office to make an appointment to register.
- ALL students (new and returning) must register to be assigned to a bus stop.
- Registrations received after 11 Aug will be processed after the first week of school.
Student Meal Program: Online...
- To apply for free or reduced-priced student meals, visit https://linqconnect.com.
- Incoming families should reapply for the school meal program as previous location qualifications may be different.
- Meal information, payment information, recurring payments, and notifications are available at https://linqconnect.com. Choose DoDEA–Navy Exchanges (Alexandria, VA) when creating an account.
- Lunch line PINs are generated via LINQ Connect after school enrollment.
