Battling to the End: Admiral Baseball Team’s Grit at Championships
Last week, our school's baseball team traveled to Kaiserslautern, Germany, to compete in the DoDEA Division 2/3 Baseball Tournament—and what a week it was! The team showcased incredible grit, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
During pool play, our boys came out strong, securing two impressive victories and demonstrating the hard work they’ve put in all season. Although their journey ended in the semi-finals, the team left everything on the field and earned the respect of everyone watching.
Two standout players, Ronald R. and Jonathan “Jon Jon” V., were recognized for their outstanding performances and named to the All-Tournament Team—a well-deserved honor that reflects their skill and leadership.
Coach Dominguez shared heartfelt words following the tournament:
“Despite the disappointing loss in the semi-finals, I am proud of everything this team has accomplished. They always kept their head up, never quit, and to me, that dedication and determination is what made this team special. They will always have a special place in my heart.”
