Remi, Gia, and Phoenix have quickly become standout young artists at Rota Middle High School, each exploring their own creative style and dedicating countless hours to developing their craft. Their work will be entered in the Scholastic Art Awards, a reminder of the powerful role art plays in helping students grow, express themselves, and thrive.

Students in grades 9–12 who are interested in STEM are invited to participate in the DoDEA Student Research Symposium (DSRS), an opportunity to conduct and present original research, earn scholarships, and connect with other young scientists. An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 10, during lunch in Room 130—see Mrs. Rogers for details.

Students in ELA 12 explored how the concept of heroism shifts across time by stepping into the pivotal, values-driven moments of historical monarchs and transforming their research into creative Hero’s Journey–style narrative “movie pitches” that brought these leaders’ inner conflicts to life.

Our middle schoolers lit up the MPB at our Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party, dancing for hours beneath neon lights and glow sticks while our amazing student DJs set the perfect vibe. Huge thanks to PSSA and our volunteers for creating a fun, safe, and unforgettable night for our Admirals!
