The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. Parents and students will not be able to access the system or register students during this time. Registration will resume when the system is reopened on July 10.
Today was a day filled with pride, tradition, and heartfelt celebration at Rota Middle High School as our seniors took part in a series of memorable events leading up to Friday's graduation ceremony.
The day began with the beloved Senior Breakfast, where the Class of 2025 gathered one last time to share laughs, memories, and a meal together. With spirits high and hearts full, the seniors then donned their caps and gowns, ready to take part in a cherished school tradition—the Senior Walk.
As they paraded through the halls of Rota Elementary and Rota Middle High, cheers erupted from students ranging from Pre-K to the Junior class. The hallways were filled with applause, high-fives, and even a few happy tears from parents. The younger students looked up to the graduating class with admiration and excitement.
In a touching tribute to their time at Rota, each senior left a lasting mark by placing their handprint on a pillar along the breezeway—a colorful legacy that will inspire future classes for years to come.
The celebration continued on the football field, where seniors gathered for graduation rehearsal, preparing for the big moment under the open sky of Admiral Field. With each step and practice cue, the reality of graduation drew closer.
To cap off the day, Principal Dr. Shonffeldt and Assistant Principal Mr. Gostkowski hosted a BBQ lunch, serving up hamburgers and hotdogs with Mr. G himself manning the grill. It was a perfect way to relax, reflect, and enjoy the camaraderie of classmates and staff.
As we look ahead to Friday night’s graduation ceremony, we invite all families and community members to join us on Admiral Field to celebrate this incredible group of students. Their journey has been one of resilience, growth, and achievement—and tomorrow, we honor it.
