The Rota Admirals softball team defied the odds with a 3rd place finish at the 2025 DoDEA Europe Championship.

The Rota Admirals softball team wrapped up their season with a remarkable 3rd place finish at the 2025 DoDEA Europe Championship in Kaiserslautern, Germany — a truly inspiring achievement for a team that began the season with just 10 players, most of whom had little to no prior softball experience.

Throughout the tournament, the Admirals demonstrated grit, growth, and an unbreakable team spirit. Their journey from underdogs to podium finishers is a testament to their hard work, determination, and love for the game.

Tournament Honors:

  • Taylor Z. and Addison K. were named All-Tournament Players, recognized by opposing coaches for their exceptional all-around performance in batting, glove work, and pitching.
  • Taylor Z. also earned the prestigious Most Outstanding Player Award, voted unanimously by coaches from all teams in the DII/DIII division — a clear reflection of her dominance and leadership on the field.

Congratulations to our Admirals for an unforgettable season and a well-deserved spot on the podium!
