Rota Boys’ Soccer Team Shows Heart in Hard-Fought Match Against MMI

The Rota boys’ soccer team showed incredible heart and resilience in a hard-fought match against division leader MMI, ultimately falling short but demonstrating significant growth and determination throughout the season.

This past weekend, the Rota boys’ soccer team faced off against our division leader, Marymount International School Rome (MMI), in a thrilling match that showcased their determination and growth throughout the season. Despite being down 0-1 at halftime, the team came back strong in the second half.

Right after the half, Daniel G. capitalized on a forced turnover to score the equalizer, bringing the game to a tense 1-1 tie. The teams remained deadlocked until midway through the second half, when the MMI home team managed to break through our defense.

Although the final score saw MMI securing the win, the Rota boys demonstrated incredible heart and resilience. Their performance in this game is a testament to their hard work and development over the season. We are proud of their efforts and look forward to seeing them continue to grow and succeed.
