Weekend Softball Showdown in Naples

This past weekend, the Rota Admirals softball team showcased their resilience and skill in an exciting doubleheader in Naples. The first game was a nail-biter, stretching into extra innings. Despite our team's valiant efforts, we narrowly lost with a final score of 16-17 in the 9th inning.

However, our team came back with a vengeance in the second game. Fueled by determination, they dominated the field and secured a decisive victory, run-ruling the opposing team in the 5th inning with an impressive score of 22-10.

Standout Performances:

• Taylor Z. was unstoppable at the plate, going 4 for 4 with three doubles and a single. She also shone on the mound, pitching 8 innings and racking up 13 strikeouts.
• Addison K. had an outstanding offensive game, going 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a single. She also held strong as the pitcher in the second game, pitching 6 innings and earning 6 strikeouts.
• Mia W. deserves a special shout-out for her stellar defensive performance at third base, keeping the hot corner locked down and making crucial plays.
