Admirals' Log Newsletter

Dear Admirals,  

As we close out this school year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our students, families, and staff. Thank you for making this community what it is: grounded in care, driven by purpose, and full of heart. 

Our students are the heart and soul of this school. They are the reason we show up early, stay late, and push ourselves to be better. This year, they’ve grown in confidence, character, and connection—reminding us every day why the work we do matters. 

To our families: Your partnership has been felt every step of the way, and I am so very grateful. Thank you for your support and your belief in what we’re building together.  I can’t wait to continue this work with you next school year.  

To our faculty and staff: You make this work possible. You’ve shown up for students again and again—not just with lessons and plans, but with compassion, encouragement, and high expectations. You’ve believed in them, and because of that, they’ve believed in themselves. 

To the Class of 2025: You carry with you the story of Rota MHS and the impact you’ve made here. We’ll miss you, and we are so excited for what lies ahead. 

As summer begins, I hope each of you finds time to rest, reconnect, and recharge. Spend time with people who make you feel like yourself. Move your body, take care of your heart, and read something just for the joy of it. 

We can’t wait to welcome you back in the fall—refreshed, ready, and proud to be Admirals. Until then, know how deeply proud I am to serve this school and this community.
