Rota Admirals Logo

Happy Friday, Admirals!

It’s hard to believe we’re already staring down the final days of Quarter 3! Next week is a short one—just three days—but each day is important. Please help us make sure students are here, engaged, and finishing strong. Every day matters as we wrap up the quarter and set the stage for a successful end to the school year.

Spring Break begins for students on Thursday, March 27, and we’ll return refreshed and ready to kick off Quarter 4 on Monday, April 7. How did we get here so fast? The final quarter is always full of energy, activity, and growth—and we can’t wait to see all the great things our students will accomplish.

We’ll jump right into the action with a special event on Wednesday, April 9, when we celebrate Purple Up Day to honor our amazing military-connected students. We’ll kick off the morning with a clap-in at 0745 at the MHS—families and community members are welcome to join us in uniform or wearing purple to help us make it a morning to remember.

As we head into Quarter 4, it's important to revisit the expectations that help our students thrive:
✔️ Be present – Every day of learning counts, especially as we head toward the finish line. Being in class, on time, and ready to engage makes a big difference.
✔️ Be prepared – Coming to school with the materials, mindset, and motivation to succeed sets students up for success.
✔️ Meet our high expectations – We believe in our students and know they’re capable of excellence. That means showing respect, taking responsibility, and giving their best effort in everything they do.

Quarter 4 is a time for finishing strong, and we’re here to support every student in doing just that. Your partnership at home helps reinforce these messages and ensures our students continue to grow and shine.

The warmer weather can sometimes lead to distractions, but we know—with your partnership—that our Admirals can end the year on a strong, positive note. Let’s keep encouraging focus, kindness, and excellence each and every day.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend and a fantastic spring break!

Kindly,

Dr. Schonffeldt
